Inter-House Kabaddi Competition 2026 | 2 September 2026 | Godda, Jharkhand
The Kabaddi court came alive today as our students enthusiastically participated in the much-awaited Inter-House Kabaddi Competition 2026 at our school in Godda, Jharkhand.
The excitement was visible from the very beginning. Students gathered with great enthusiasm, House teams prepared themselves for the matches, and the atmosphere was filled with cheers and encouragement. For many students, it was not just another competition—it was an opportunity to represent their House, work together as a team and give their best on the court.
The competition featured separate matches for boys and girls across junior and senior categories, giving students from different age groups the opportunity to showcase their sporting abilities.
Our junior boys and girls participated with tremendous enthusiasm. Their energy, confidence and determination were a joy to watch. Despite their young age, the students displayed impressive coordination and a willingness to support their teammates throughout the matches.
The senior boys and girls also delivered strong performances. Their matches reflected greater tactical understanding, quick decision-making and excellent coordination between team members.
The scores from today’s matches have not been revealed at this stage, as the first round is yet to be completed.
While competition remained at the heart of the event, one of the biggest highlights of the day was the excellent sportsmanship displayed by the students.
Students encouraged their teammates, respected their opponents and maintained a positive competitive spirit. The event demonstrated that school sports are not simply about winning or losing—they are about learning how to compete with confidence, respect and discipline.

The weather in Godda presented an unexpected challenge today. Due to unfavourable weather conditions, only around half of the first round could be completed.
For the safety of students and staff and to ensure that the matches are conducted under suitable conditions, the remaining matches had to be postponed.
The pending first-round matches are expected to be conducted on 9 September 2026, subject to suitable weather and ground conditions.
Despite the weather interruption, the enthusiasm of the students remained undiminished. Their energy throughout the event showed just how eagerly they had been looking forward to the competition.
At our school, we believe that education extends beyond textbooks and classrooms. Sporting events provide students with valuable opportunities to learn through experience.
An Inter-House competition encourages students to work towards a common goal while developing a sense of responsibility towards their House and teammates. It also creates an environment where students learn to appreciate both victory and defeat.
For the students of Godda, such sporting opportunities are an important part of developing confidence, fitness and a strong sense of teamwork.
The participation of both boys and girls from junior and senior categories also made today’s competition an inclusive celebration of sporting talent.
The Kabaddi action may have been interrupted today, but the competition is far from over!
With only part of the first round completed, students and House teams will now look forward to 9 September 2026, when the remaining matches are expected to take place.
The coming matches will determine which teams move forward in the competition and eventually compete for the Inter-House Kabaddi Championship 2026.

Today’s competition was a wonderful reminder of what school sports can bring to students—energy, confidence, friendship, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Even though the weather prevented the completion of the first round, the enthusiasm shown by our students made the event a memorable one.
We appreciate the participation and efforts of all the students and the support of our teachers and event coordinators in making the competition possible.
Congratulations to every participant for stepping onto the court and giving their best!
